Parenting Capacity Assessment

The Family Assessment Service provides comprehensive, trauma informed, and evidence-based psychosocial and parenting capacity assessments aimed at determining a parent’s ability to safely parent children and enhance their development. The assessment provides an objective psychological opinion to assist child protection professionals to make decisions in the best interests of the child and determine interventions that might be used to assist the parents in obtaining the requisite skills to provide for the care and protection needs of their children.
