Guardianship Assessment

All children should have the opportunity to live their lives to the fullest potential. When children cannot be safely reunified with their parents, it is important for their wellbeing to find them a safe, loving, and permanent family. The Family Assessment Service conducts comprehensive guardianship assessments to determine, on a case by case basis, the needs of the child and the proposed guardians willingness and ability to fulfil all statutory guardianship responsibilities.
